What is endodontic treatment

Saving the tooth from within

Root canal treatment is a procedure that allows a tooth to remain in the mouth even when severely damaged by caries, fracture or trauma. Thanks to local anaesthesia, the treatment is painless.

Root canal retreatment is performed on a tooth whose canals have already been treated. It involves re-processing and refilling them, usually due to persistent inflammation.

After endodontic treatment, teeth are often mechanically weakened. To reduce the risk of fracture, we recommend protecting treated teeth with an all-ceramic crown.

We perform all treatments using magnification.

What to expect

Filling of the root canal with a special sealing material.

Composite filling
Hermetic sealing of the canal entrances with a composite filling.

Ceramic crown
For a larger tooth defect we recommend a ceramic crown to protect against fracture.
