A dental implant is a fixed element inserted into the jawbone. The special material it is made from allows integration and acceptance in the human body.
Dental implant treatment offers a wide range of applications. Compared to a dental bridge, implants allow conservative replacement of one tooth without involving adjacent teeth. They can replace multiple teeth including a full arch, and can also anchor a removable denture.

Is dental implant placement painful?
Implant placement is routinely performed under local anaesthesia. Most patients tolerate the procedure without difficulty. If you have concerns, we offer the option of sedation (analgosedation) or general anaesthesia administered by an experienced anaesthesiologist.
How long does a dental implant last?
We work to ensure your implant lasts as long as possible. Careful oral hygiene, regular visits to the dental hygienist and dentist are essential. Statistics show that 9 out of 10 implants survive a 10-year period.
How much does a dental implant cost?
Implant placement (the surgery alone, without the crown) costs CZK 16,500 and an all-ceramic crown on the implant, including the abutment, CZK 15,000. A complete single-tooth solution therefore comes to approximately CZK 31,500. The price also depends on the number of implants and any need for bone augmentation (from CZK 10,000). We will prepare a precise breakdown after the initial examination – you can also find an overview in the Prices section above.
How long does the entire process take?
Typically 3–6 months from implant placement to fitting the crown. This includes the healing period during which the implant integrates with the bone. An exact schedule will be established at consultation.

Do you provide full-arch restorations?
Yes. We provide fixed full-arch restorations using the All-on-4 and All-on-6 methods – that is, on four or six implants respectively. Firm anchorage of a removable denture is also possible. We determine the suitable option based on the bone condition seen on the CBCT scan.
What if I don't have enough bone?
Insufficient bone tissue does not in itself rule out implantation. We address it with bone augmentation (from CZK 10,000), and in the upper jaw with a procedure called a sinus lift. We assess the extent from the 3D scan before treatment begins.
I'm anxious about the procedure – do you offer sedation?
Yes. We offer treatment under sedation (analgosedation) as well as general anaesthesia administered by an experienced anaesthesiologist. Anxiety about the procedure is common – tell us about it at the consultation and we will agree on a suitable approach.
